FLOOR-TYPE HBMs

Fermat’s WRF series represents our floor type horizontal boring mill. Available column travels on the X-axis range from 2400 to 28 100 mm l 94.49″ -1 106″. We are able to install clamping plates plus one or more CNC-rotary tables along the X-axis. The vertically movable headstock works flawlessly and shows high machining precision at any level up to 8 meters l 314.96″. For the WRF Floor Type, we offer spindle diameters ranging from 130 to 160 mm l 5.12″ - 6.30″ as a standard design. However, we are able to design headstocks with spindle diameters over 160 mm l 6.30″ by special request. As of today, the biggest horizontal boring mill our organization has produced is a 1000 mm l 39.37″ extension spindle travel and 1500 mm l 59.06″ ram travel. We are open to atypical requests, and thanks to our custom design requests from customers we are challenged with new opportunities that helps to continually broaden our horizons. The main operational benefit of our machines is to remove large amounts of material from heavy steel, cast steel, or cast-iron work pieces.
