The T-shaped modular design is the distinctive feature of Fermat table type boring mills. The table moves along the X –axis (from 1250 to 6 100 mm l 49.21″ - 240.15″) perpendicular to the column that travels on the Z-axis (from 900 to 3 900 mm l 35.43″ - 153.54″). In turn, the powerful headstock moves vertically along the Y-axis from 1250 to 5000 mm. Normally we offer machines with spindle diameters ranging from 100 mm l 3.94″to 150 mm 5.91″ and table load from 3 000 kg to 20 000 kg l 6 614lb – 44 092. However, it is possible to create a more powerful table type machine based on customer specifications, such as the WRFT model, where the spindle diameter can be up to 160 mm l 6.30″ and equipped with a rotary table that can withstand loads in excess of 20 000 kg l 44 092 lb. We also provide a WFT model with a movable ram within the headstock. This is not a typical found on table type horizontal boring machines, however, we are able to prove the reliability and convenience of such innovative design solutions.
The modular concept of our machine designs allows for great operational variability in configurations, built according to the clients’ requirements. Modern control systems provide easy operation of the machine as well as many useful functions for the user. Using different accessories such as milling or facing heads, probe systems, and other additions opens exponential opportunities for machining the most complicated work pieces. When you choose your Fermat table type machine we will provide a reliable horizontal boring mill and hassle – free production.
