Gantry Heavy Duty is a machine designed for heavy and complex machining of extra large workpieces. The machine construction utilizes an "O" shape for the crossbeam and columns, which is characterized by high rigidity and precision. The integrated PICK-UP head and robotic magazine between the machine columns create significant time savings without the need to reposition the machine during exchanges. Multifunctional machine - drilling, milling, turning, grinding and laser-hardening.
The unique spindle verified by its use on floor-type horizontal mills features a 39.4 in / 1 000 mm extension in the W-axis. Ram stroke up to 78 in / 2 000 mm. Machine is equipped with floor plates and rotary tables. Great variety of optional accessories and milling heads.
Equipped with HEIDENHAIN, SIEMENS or FANUC control system.
