Limited Use and Extended Storage Preface

Our recommendations for extended storage and/or limited use of Lucas machines are detailed in the attached process sheets.

We do not believe that ANY protective procedure can be devised that will totally eliminate problems upon re-commissioning of a machine that has ben totally removed from normal operation and service.

Following our recommendations should result in a reduction of the frequency and severity of the problems you will encounter.

We also anticipate a greater frequency of problem occurrence on any machine used infrequently (relative to one used normally).

Following our recommendations should result in a fewer number of problems than if the recommendations are not followed, however, it is not expected to reduce the problems to the same level of frequency as would be anticipated on a machine in normal, daily operation.
